African American Caregiver’s Forum & Health Fair – Save the Date
Join us for the African American Caregiver’s Forum and Health Fair: Understanding Memory Loss and Brain Health on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church (467 N White Rd, San Jose, CA 95127). This free community event will provide valuable education, resources, and support for caregivers, families, and individuals interested in learning more about memory loss and brain health.
Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and the Black Alzheimer’s Association Advisory Council, the forum will feature expert speakers discussing Alzheimer’s facts, risk factors, caregiving strategies, and brain health resources. Attendees will also have access to health screenings, information booths, and community resources designed to support caregivers and families.
Lighthouse will be proudly providing lunch for attendees, and a continental breakfast will also be available. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, learn from healthcare professionals, and access tools that support healthy aging and caregiving.
This event is free and open to the community, but space may be limited. We encourage caregivers, family members, and community members to attend and take advantage of the valuable information and resources available.
